THE SKIPPER
Captain Barry Bracken is a professional marine biologist and naturalist, who has lived in Southeast Alaska for 40 years, and has been on or near Alaskan waters for most of his life. He conducted marine fisheries research with the Alaska Department of Fish and Game for over twenty years and knows the area extremely well. He is frequently asked to share his knowledge of Southeast Alaska in both children's and adult's classrooms and for public presentations. Barry holds a US Coast Guard Master's License, is on the Board of Directors of the Petersburg Charter Boat Association and the Petersburg Marine Mammal Center, and is a long-time member of the National Association of Charter Operators.

THE VESSEL
Ride in comfort aboard the 28-foot diesel-powered aluminum Sea Master cruiser, Island Dream. The vessel features a heated cabin, complete walk in head (toilet), and a large very safe deck. All seats face forward to optomize viewing. The Island Dream meets or exceeds all U.S. Coast Guard safety requirements and is a drug and alchohol-free vessel.
