In addition to the serenity and relaxation of our waterfront retreat, Water's Edge guests have complimentary use of laundry facilities and bicycles. We can also arrange for kayak rentals. Guests will find a well-stocked library of Alaskana, natural history, novels, magazines and other reading material. TV/VCR/DVD are also available to catch up on the world events or to view our collection of videos about Southeast Alaska. A private phone and wireless internet access are also available for the convenience of our guests.

Hosts, Kathy and Barry Bracken, have called Petersburg "home" for over 30 years. Kathy is a retired educator, and Barry is a marine biologist and naturalist who operates a marine ecotour business, Kaleidoscope Cruises. Their enthusiasm for Southeast Alaska is infectious, and they love sharing their experiences as well as information about their surroundings.
